Your progress is tracked separately for each category via the progress bars. Each bar shows the percentage needed to pass its respective category. When you have recorded enough points to pass a category, the progress bar will turn green. To view or edit your points, click on the link to the right of the bar.

We have provided supporting examples and additional resources for many of the standards. In addition to downloading them via the DOWNLOAD EXAMPLES button below, they can be accessed by clicking on the “Example” link that follows the standard.

Mandatory standards are assessed as either passing or failing. If a practice fails a mandatory standard, Practice Certification will not be granted.

Optional standards are assessed using a point system. A designated minimum number of points must be achieved to pass a given category. Each category’s optional standards allow a clinic to earn all or none of the points for that standard, except for the Client Education category, where all or a portion of the points may be earned per individual standard. When you have recorded enough points to pass a section, the progress bar will turn green.

Some mandatory and optional standards will require uploads and/or write-ins.

When you have completed each category and all your progress bars are green, you are ready to submit your self-assessment for review. Simply click the submit button on the form at the bottom of this page to schedule your onsite visit.
