Example:

An Observed in Use would be a pet was seen for an ear infection and you confirm that information regarding ear care was given to the owner, either via handout or emailed to owner.

A Missed Opportunity would be a dog required a muzzle during the visit, and the owner did not receive information re: muzzle training.

Unless noted otherwise, nothing else is required of the PCV during the OSV for this section.
